True fact is, Cruzin, that this actually is no more than a lucky snapshot (hence the plenty of room around her in the original picture): we were visiting Malin Head in Ireland and came to this gap where we stopped to look at the waves crashing into that gap. And she sat down, looked over and I took her picture. Just so...

This photo is not claiming that I am any good at taking portraits... for I am not. Not really. Only sometimes do I strike lucky , that's all.

I have found the best pictures I have of people is when I setup the shot without the person knowing and wait for the moment. I have had people show irritation at this technique, but sometimes as you say "strike it lucky", then all is forgiven.

I am not one for the smile and say cheese, pose for the camera, type of pictures, although I do those pictures as well :roll:
