A nice surprise on my Osprey trail

I walked out my normal path today and was greeted by silence. It was very strange as I normally see 12-15 Ospreys in the tree or taking flight.. I plunked down on a boulder by the water. After a few minutes I heard something loud take off directly above me. I had been sitting about 50 feet underneath this guy and had no idea! He looped and around and I got this one..

The same thing happened to me later on in the day too, but I didn't get a shot. I hope this guy hangs around because he is not as camera shy(human shy) as other eagles I have seen in the area..

Thanks for all the kind words.. I think he may have taken up residence on the trails. I saw him flying out there this morning but he we about 1/2 mile away.. hopefully we become bff...
