Photos OK to edit
A bunch of photos from a weekend shoot not too long ago. I have more too, but I thought the photos were going to be in thumbnail form.

C+C obviously welcome, thank you.

Really like the last 3 the 3rd one is my fav.Nice set of pics.

Thank you very much. Now I'm just waiting to to upgrade my glass. So much chromatic aberration accompanying this 75-300 4-5.6 non is.

Good thing you didn't title this Jersey Shore you would have had tons of meaningless responses. Can't call it that any more :-(

Great pics. Which shore?

Was just going to ask the same thing!

The first picture is the only one that really stands out to me but I like it a lot!

Thank you guys. It is actually the Jersey Shore, right in Asbury Park and Belmar. Great spots all around there

#1 is the only one I really liked. There's sort of an optical illusion with it. If you look at it one way, it looks like your camera is pointed upwards towards some windows. If you look at it another way, it looks like some kind of wood framing framing that you're viewing from straight ahead (as in, the screw is facing towards the ground). In my opinion, that alone makes it a great picture. Keeps your attention.

The bee and shell pictures are almost there.. but something's just not grabbing me.

2 3 and 4 are all pretty boring to be honest. Colors are screwy on 3 (sky is dull, grass is pale, whites are blown, rocks are really dark). 3 is also pretty out of focus.

#4 is tilted counterclockwise, and the colors are washed out. There's nothing popping in this one either.

Personally, I'd keep #1 and #7 and scrap the others.

Thank you for your C+C.

At first #1 was my least favorite shot I had taken that day. After getting into a little post processing I decided to change it to black and white and it looked immediately better. It just gives it a gloomier feel.

#2 is by far the least intriguing out of the set and I probably shouldn't have posted it because I knew it. I just wanted to see what other people thought.

#3 I tried to remove some highlighting and added a bit of shadow. I think that is why the shadow looks dull and blown out and the rocks look darker. It's not out of focus, resize the image and then look at it. Focus is right on the lifeguard stand.

#4 I have taken that shot literally like 20 times and I can't find a way to get it the way I want. It is hard lining up the horizon line when you are in there and hand holding with shaky hands like mine.

#5 I like the bee. Doesn't really go with the theme but it was taken at the beach.

#6 That was the first photo I actually moved stuff around to try and get a look I wanted. Didn't turn out terrible. Always room for improvement

#7 ....there is only 6

Haha i'm just bustin balls.
