TPF Noob!
Good Morning All,
Like the radio shows go, long time reader, first time poster.
I have enjoyed photography for several years now. However, it was only about 18 moths ago that I received a DSLR as a birthday gift from my wife. Little did she know that she opening an even bigger can of worms with that gift. I have been doing my best to wear the camera out (D5100). I have become very familiar with the camera and am looking to upgrade bodies in the next several weeks to another Nikon I believe. I feel familiar enough with the Nikon that I feel it would be easiest to learn my way around another Nikon. I am looking at buying the D610.
I really enjoy trying to capture BIF along with other wildlife photography. However, I have been able to become what I would consider slightly better than average with taking pictures of individuals. I also enjoy shooting sports as my wife loves basketball and other high school sports. I used to get pretty much bored at the games and then decided to start taking a few shots during the games. That turned into me actually looking forward to attending ball games.
All that rambling to say that I am looking forward to learning more and more around here and then possibly contributing back at some point after I feel less noob about it all.
