Is there a language barrier thing happening here? Mediocre?

Well I'm using mediocre because the new 70-200 mm would be prime choice without a price budget.

It's pretty far from mediocre. Its really an exceptional lens... But sure there are better ones.

I think it will be a perfect lens for me to start with. I think It will be good enough for me and I'm sure I'll be pleased with it! Luckily I found a store that may have some lens I could test out before I buy in the future!

That's like saying a $150k Mercedes is "mediocre," because it's not as good as a $300k Bentley.

For most people when someone says something is "mediocre" they assume it's below average. As in: Bad, Mediocre, Average, Good, Great, Amazing.
