I m very new to photography , i have no idea where to get help for becoming professional photographer.any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Kate; if that is your goal, then the first thing you should do is become good at it. Become very familiar with your equipment, take many photographs over varying conditions, become adept at post-processing, and learn from the pros. Watch what they do, and learn to criticize photos. If you see the work of a pro that just doesn't work well, learn from that as well. Be on the lookout for any opportunity to become an "official" photographer, such as your local clubs or charities. Don't expect to be paid gobs of money for one photo shoot, but learn to promote yourself, as opposed to your photos. Do some "free" work for friends and family members who can pass the word around.

To the OP... that is REALLY cool. I love it. Very well executed. I sorta wish your framed self was looking more at you personally, but ... still ... very clever.

Kate.. normally, opening several threads on the same subject in different areas (especially other peoples threads!!! You should just open your own thread!) is considered rude! I will give you the same answer here I gave you in your other thread!

It's SO easy! Go to Best Buy.. spend $700.00 on an entry level camera! While you are waiting in line at Best Buy.. create a business page on Facebook (use your smart phone to do this!)! If you are really serious.. you can even create your own website with Wordpress (This might take a couple of hours though). Start thinking about a really large watermark using your business name (so no one steals your precious photos!) Use Piknik and Instagram to create a cool, individual style of processing for your photos..... and boom! You are a PROFESSIONAL! ;-)

That seems to work for about 90% of the new Professionals out there.... should work for you too!

Or you can actually become a REAL photographer.. put in a minimum of 5 to 10 years of hard work learning all aspects of photography, go to school and get a business degree since Photography is about 90% business, 10% photography! Hope you get lucky!

Kate that is rude to hijack a threain this manner. Have consideration and uses this forum's Welcome thread. Better yet, why not add a photo to grab people's attention. But what you're doing on this person's thread and on another one is very poor taste indeed.

Agree with Manaheim on both counts. Love the concept and execution but would love to see a direct interaction with yourself. Would really like to see you revisit this and see what you come up with!
