Just shot this about an hour ago. When I viewed it full size I was amused at what I saw in the carapace of the ant. Look close and you'll see my unintentional self-portrait. Some days are just tooooo funny! Jim
Ok, did I mention that I am really tired of you and your photos!? I mean, come on..."oops, I just accidentally captured a self portrait of myself on the body of an ant" !*@!(&#$@^!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey, I didn't even see the ant until I got it into the computer. I cheated- that's a crop from a larger frame. Just to make you feel better, I'll put this up for your amusement: This is called "saving the blooper." Trip the shutter while getting the exposure/focus info , put a frame around it with a nice title and say "I planned it that way." Nobody believes you, but it allows you to slink off with some of your dignity intact. Jim
I've done even worse than that. I was doing some catalogue shots and one of a silver ring looked a bit uninteresting so I got an accomplice to shine a light into it. You can clearly see reflections of both of us. The shot looks great and full of interest but it was not suitable for its intended purpose.
