1934 (I think) Chrysler Airflow. A marketing failure, featuring a body just too modernistic to be accepted at the time.
 
Ah, the next shot is engineering.
 
I visited this bridge constriction site often, over a two-year period. I was fascinated by the way they built each pylon first, then started building roadway atop it, reaching out toward the adjacent pylon/roadway islands, eventually connecting them together. When the final stages were underway, they piled huge concrete blocks on the ends of these free-standing roadway ends to push them down into alignment before connecting.

I have a few Canon Powershots in the closet. Love the taxi photo. Have you posted that image in the forum before?
I have an old PowerShot (A75) but it does not work. I thought I would get around to repairing it, but it has been sitting for years. It was nice, but I still have not gotten it fixed.
