Hi, I'm yet another newbie from Australia.
I bought my D5100 in November last year. I previously owned a Minolta film SLR, but only ever used it in the Auto mode. This time, I am determined to learn photography properly, and has just finished a beginner photography course at adult ed.
My primary area of interest is macro. I LOVE seeing fine little details in flowers and bugs. I've just bought Manfrotto 190XPROB and am busily saving up for a Nikon micro 105mm.
I am looking forward to learning lots from other forum members.
