Another experiment in still life. I'm really having fun with it.

I can see one strange: the shadow that the cookie on the left project over the cup. What is the other one?

It's not bad, but my one thought is the crop. I feel like there should be more at the top of the photo, the cup kind of feels confined to me as is. just my 2 cents It would be more balanced with more space at the top.

I love my coffee and cookies and have lots of pictures of same. This one is nice. The yellowish side light says "morning" to me and the composition is balanced. I see Dagwood's point about the top and if you have the space in the original it would be worth a comparison, but I'd be just as happy taking a little off the bottom to make it tight all around or just leaving it as is. I like the multiple shadows in the cup.

Unfortunately this pic is not cropped. It's just how I framed. That's the "set", I find it's funny to see "what's behind". The photo was shooted in total darkness. Just the lights of the candles.
