Anyone like Hoodman?

Sooooo, somehow I lost the eyepiece to my camera. I'm curious if it's worth the 20 something bucks for a hoodman or should I just go oem? I know only I can make the true decision but I'm up in the air. I've never had a problem with the oem eyepiece but I figured if I have to replace it, maybe upgrade it? If its truly an upgrade ? Does anyone really prefer it over the oem piece? If so, what do you like about it?
