Anyone using the Epson 4800?

Short answer is no. You need a RIP, and you need to calibrate it. The two of those alone will cost you easily upwards of $500. Then there's inks, well over $100 every time you replace them. Still sound worth it? Don't get me wrong, it's a good printer. I've printed on the 7800 as well with very nice results. But it took a lot of work to get them to the point that they printed as nicely as they do.
