Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Just got outta rehab for addiction, don't really got anything creative to do but edit old photos, I'm sure the models appreciate it since I was too mess'd up and didn't care to do much editing, and I did a self portrait.

I'm thinking you might not want to advertise that.. not if you want anyone to take you any kind of seriously at least.

Everyone makes mistakes some more than others so feel great about who you are and what you can do that is positive to make a better life. Don't worry about the past as that is behind you, look to the future as that is in front of you.

take it how you want it.

You really look like Zachary Quinto... :P

I looked him up, yea the guy from Heroes, I've been told I look like someone from that show.

That's kind of a sh*tty thing to say. WHO isn't going to take him seriously because of that? This is a forum... A community... Not a job interview. Who cares? People make mistakes and he did what he needed to do to correct them. If anything that tells me that he's probably MORE focused and has his head on straighter than some people here. :er:

Yes... OP... You do look like Quinto, haha!

I like the first shot, but that's all I can really say cause I'm on my iPhone

I've a new respect for you Graham. Although it is quite personal, thanks for sharing your short term story and I'm hoping the best for you on that front.

The photos, nice! I definitely prefer the processing you've applied to these as opposed to what you've posted in the past. I bet the models appreciate it too!

Next time you visit a therapist, ask him or her why you feel the need to talk about your addiction in places where it isn't needed.
Want to hear about my Ewing's Sarcoma or the fact that I have spinal stenosis?
Why would you?
Me either.

Why don't we stick to the photos, and leave the offhand remarks alone?

These are kind of nice, similar to what you were posting before with many of the same issues and the same good points. The skin tones are weirdly blotchy in these, what's up with that? I'm not sure how you're getting this slightly mottled look, but it's not working for me.

Glad to hear you are getting yourself healthy!

These are a breath of fresh air from you. Lots of improvement! Keep it up :)

Welcome back. Nice edits & congrats on the personal accomplishment.

You kind of just told us exactly as much about your life as he did about his... It's not a whole lot of information is it now?
Is he supposed to be silent as the grave about something like that? Now that's some rock solid psychological advice you have there... :P

I was pointing out that it was inappropriate and odd, like running into a bakery and yelling 'I've got cancer.'
The only thing that occurs to me is that he is trying to build an image in some way of someone who struggles valiantly against his disease to let his inner artist flourish.

Poop.

I don't have either Ewing's Sarcoma or spinal stenosis and I wouldn't tell it here if I did, because I isn't appropriate.
This is photography not therapy.

Thanx everyone for the feedback n comments, n ehhhhh like i said take it how you want cus im not gonna take it back.

I would say... not because I care if you were in rehab or not.. but if you are a photog for hire, you might want to reconsider: unless you already have a great reputation.. if I were to hire you to take pictures of me, or my family, or my headshot etc.. i'd google you, find your name here saying that you *just* got out of rehab.. and now I'm meeting you somewhere with money on me? Not gonna happen..
