I would say... not because I care if you were in rehab or not.. but if you are a photog for hire, you might want to reconsider: unless you already have a great reputation.. if I were to hire you to take pictures of me, or my family, or my headshot etc.. i'd google you, find your name here saying that you *just* got out of rehab.. and now I'm meeting you somewhere with money on me? Not gonna happen..

I don't think i'd ever do "just" a family portrait (although I am going to for this girl's kids whose doing my tattoos), or "just" head shots of someone else, I'm not really about tht scene, the demographic i work in there's a lotta drugs so i'm not really worried about being judged as a now clean and sober person, and even if you did google my name there's probably a million forum topics you gotta go through.

I think the pics look great. You have a good eye and smooth hand in your processing. Glad youtook a turn on the road and glad it led you here. I respect and admire a person who has come to grips with their issues and don't feel the need to hide it from the world.
As people we mostly try to pretend we are something we are not and fight our demons in the dark. I like your approach better. I may even join in someday soon. Not tonight though, I'm on
my iPad.
