I'm a fan of silohuettes and long shadows. Nicely done. Just wish the fingers were a bit more defined. They lose themselves IMO.

What did you use for the smoke? Or was it added in post?

To answer a few questions, the smoke was from his breath (I wouldn't cheat with photoshop like that :]), and my subject's intention was to act as though a train were coming toward him. There were a few other poses, but I thought this one was the most striking. My flash was set up approximately 15 feet away from the subject, on full power, at the 105mm setting (I'm sort of guessing on this one, but I remember experimenting with the zoom for increased power), and fired remotely via an Alienbee trigger/receiver setup.

I agree with you guys on the fingers! His dramatic pose really draws your eyes to the hands.. ah well, it's a lesson for the next time I am working with silhouettes.
