This guy was no more than 25 ft. away but at a steep angle and behind some power and telephone cables. Luckily for me he was patient and allowed me time to maneuver for a clear shot.

He is beautiful, and you did a great job getting set up without alarming him. Sometimes I think the innate curiosity of critters overrides their instinct to flee, and he definitely looks like he wants to know what you were up to. Terrific shooting.
