I love those old cameras. It looks like an old Twin Lens reflex.

What film did you use?

TriX. Well back in 1928 35mm was making a transition between a Cine film to one used in still cameras. There was no right or wrong way to do it. The QRS was cutting edge back in its day. Though in a short time the overall concept and design was forgotton

It looks like the top lens is the film lens and the bottom lens is for the view finder. I assume the bottom hole is for the shutter release button. Just my guesses.

There was some very clever engineering in those days.
