beautiful light and not many willing subjects

Had some gorgeous light and couldn't find much. The gulls were cooperating quite nicely and found a snowy egret and had a Willet hover overhead. Oh well.. Comments welcome..

I really like the last one. The golden light seems to fall just right on the head and torso to isolate it and bring out the detail.

I love the second one, all are great though. What lens did you shoot these with?

Thanks Bo4key and Steve.... I shoot an Old Tokina 300 F2.8 AT-x II AF...

Those are some great shots for "not many willing subjects". ;-)

#2 and #5 are great for the reasons already mentioned. I do like the captured splash in #4 as well.
