Hi Katomi, thanks for your reply, you are right, we should not let technology to stop that we imagine. Technology actually reduces out time to do a particular job. I was actually looking for a software which will automatically remove a background without any manual work. Do you know any?

No sorry ..well a vague idea that you will have to research.
There was talk about software that works the same way as the film makers sci if effects
The green/blue background and the software knows to remove just that colour.
Not tried it but

From what I rem it’s has pc/Mac PS/LR compatibility
I looked at this a long time ago, but then I went into pano,s

I came from film photography and the tech of digital allows me to pus the limits of my dreams.
I have wrote a small booklet using my own pics, produced a 71 inch pano. I am currently pushing the limit of my kit both on the large scale and on the macro.
Let’s me know how it goes with the background

Thanks for your reply, and yeah I guess I have to research more about it, until then I guess I will do the job manually. The ps is good by the way. It doest the job pretty neatly.

Taken with old I pad under bad light. The original is way to big to post here.
With layers it’s over 2GB. The tricky part is the water there are 20 images to make this.
Canon 60d, hand held, canon 70 200 f4 l series SS and app I would have to look at the exif data.
On the wall I can read car number plates, no noise, seen printed on plastic canvas designed for outdoor use.
Eg banners. I was the first that the print firm had that wanted photos this big. This is what I mean by pushing the limits. The green, is a dandelion seal head, that has been sprayed with uv reactive paint then using a canon 600d with all three extension tubes pushing the limit of what the camera will resolve

Wow katomi, really amazing work, I know this is not the original resolution, but I know the deal. Great work, you really inspired me a little.

Thank you. I have an out of the box approach. The uv work was a whole series, I wanted to do something different and at the time I was watching way too much csi tv and the idea of using uv came from saying
yea right when the crime tech took pics using uv. So I set out to try and see if I could do it, wrote the rule book as I went. Cost minimal as the uv torch lights were 5GBP each from amazon as they were designed to find pet wee stains.
The paint is Wildfire, it’s was used in discos. I had to make a colour ref card like the gray grad we all know.

Pics 2,3,4 taken under uv, 400nm ish
Pics 5,6,7 taken under daylight equivalent light torch

As you can see the colours pop under uv light, and I used a uv filter on the camera to reduce the flare

Amazing, can I please know how much did you pay for those UV torches?. Are they exactly 5GBP?
