Beginner's Embarrassment?

Just do it. Pull over and get the shot. I mean ****, who's going to question you? The fuzz?

"HEY KID WHAT ARE YOU DOING ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD POINTING THAT CAMERA AT THE SKY?"

That probably won't happen. Just remember, the probability that you know who's passing you and looking at you is very low. And if someone does pass you that knows you, they'd probably be expecting you to take photos, right?

Plus, most of the people that pass you are more than likely smoking joints and could care less, unless you live in Singapore. Smoking a joint is a punishable by death.

This. Virtually nobody driving by would know you and those people would only wonder for a split second what you were doing. Think about if you were driving down the road and saw someone taking shots of the sky. You'd probably wonder for a second what they were doing...but then you'd pretty quickly move on to something else.

Ive been in that situation a few times but I can never resist getting the shot so I always just say screw it and set everything up. And Ive had people question me before and it always annoys me for some reason. Especially when they ask it in a suspicious tone like your up to something and it is their duty to find out what it is and stop you.
