- Photos OK to edit
Looks and bit soft and under exposed but great track bike
Why did you save it as a .PNG? Making the spring go away is no big deal, nor is working on the sharpness and the exposure:
Sorry, I had posted an edit, but you don't allow that so.......

I removed it when I noticed you had your edit preference set to Not Ok to edit. Why did you save it as a .PNG? Making the spring go away is no big deal, nor is working on the sharpness and the exposure:

Did it physically not let you?
Or did you remove it?
Post it up!
Once I figure how to change that 'edit' thing, i'll do so.
I don't mind people editing my stuff as a method of critique
and to show me something I'm missing
Thanks!
In addition to pen's comments, I'd also remove the pedals (and their toe clips). Don't think I like the jump out of the way technique....especially if it was my bike! Finally, I found the line/crack on the floor to be distracting. My $0.02.Since the comments about the shoot are taken care of I will comment on the subject. I don't like the spring that you have used to hold up the bike. Get some one to hold the bike and jump out of the way just before you take the picture. That spring probably weights as much as the bike does. Level the cranks having the right crank that is facing you forward. I like the photo. Good job.
I used USM (UnSharp Mask) - twice. Can you explain to me a bit about what you did?
I don't need to know about removing the spring, but I do see your edit is quite sharper.
Care to explain a bit?
Thanks!
PatrickJamesYu said:Yeah, I tried bringing that and the shadows within the cranks and rear wheel set out in post as much as I could
When you say ad more hard shadow, do you mean like shadow upon the ground?
Or shadows along the body lines and contours of the bike itself?
Thanks!
I didn't say it should not be saved as a .PNG. I asked why it was. I'm sorry, but all your threads/posts rub me the wrong way, making me feel compelled to add you to my Ignore list.
.PNG can't be opened in some image editing applications, like Camera Raw, and it does not support non-RGB color spaces.
