Nicely shot. Not really a lot to critique, but I wonder if you missed an opportunity in not creating a panorama?

They all look too dark to me, I think a longer shutter speed would have been better :)

Longer shutter speed would have been fantastic as would a panoramic...however...Empire State Building does not allow tripods up, the took mine at security, so these were handheld and the longest shutter speed I could manage with the camera perched on the fencing. Lol.

I may be able to make a panoramic with a few of the shots that I took, but nothing compared to the skyline one I posted earlier. Will give it a try though!!

With out a tripod those are pretty dang good. I like 3 the most.

Not bad. Nothing that blows me away. I think some would have been a lot better with a tripod and longer exposure as said above. Maybe try taking one of those little mini tripods with the legs that can wrap around the railing....can't think of the name of them right now for the life of me. I am sure you could take one of those up there.

3 is my favorite too because of all the buildings lit up from Times Square. That place is amazing. I would never want to live there, but it was a nice weekend getaway that ended far too soon.

I love New York! And I agree with above comments.

Gorillapod :)

Pretty good shots by handheld. Good info on the tripod . Do they allow a monopod there?
Gorillapod might be an option. Is gorillapod strong enough to support a DSLR?

No you are not allowed to take monopods up either, I saw them take one from the guy in front of me. I would not trust my DSLR on that Gorillapod 86 windy stories in the air with people pushing and shoving everywhere. Maybe if it wasn't as busy...

yes they make a DSLR version.

I like #2. It looks like a frame from a shot of CSI new york. The shots look okay but nothing really special mainly because of the fast shutter/exposure from not being able to carry your tripod/monopod. Also, I've been to Empire State and it's hard to take cityscapes there because of the wall covers/screens.

Are you from New York or a tourist?

You might want to try Top of Rock in Rockefeller Center. I think you might be able to get better city night shots from there. :D
