Can you guys recommend me some good places for setting up a blog? Not savvy on this at all..

You could try blogger.com for a start... They're pretty good.

They even have a blogger.de if you'd fancy that better.

I only use Flickr (www.flickr.com). As you can see, flickr is more focused on the photos, rather than the text.

Blogger.com and blogspot.com is better at the text side of the blogging, but man, you're at the PHOTO forum now.

oh and I should mention that if you sign up at blogger.com then your address is something.blogspot.com

Even though flikr is more for photos, I never liked the "look" of it... so I started with blogspot... it was okay, free, and easy to configure/customize, but it always went down! So I changed to typepad... pretty happy so far....
