Hi! First time here so please be gentle. I do Boudoir and have come across a common problem, blotchy red skin on the legs. I try take out the red in photoshop but it just turns dark and creates spider vein look. I’ve tried dodging and burning but no success. Pls help! Is there a free tutorial that takes care of this problem?

Hello and welcome, try utube where there are lots of good videos ..........

Not being able to see an example I can only generalise, but I think you will find that it's the level of global processing (saturation/contrast/clarity etc) that enhances and makes the effect visible. So instead of adding more layers of processing consider applying locally, or scaling back the processing on the legs. Easier to do in ACR or LR/PS than trying to process away the effects of excessive processing by adding more... ;);););)

Local adjustments are the way to treat this; that said, I much prefer Photoshop as its selection tools are MUCH better suited, IMO, to this fairly delicate work. I tend to use the magic wand to do a tonal range selection, a very slight feather (1-2px max) and then a variety of desat, colour adjustment, vibrance, and whatever else seems to be appropriate at the time.
