Blue photos

Hi, i'm new!

I've got a Nikon D40 camera which i'm getting on well with, except when I use it is PSAM modes. I've tried adjusting a few things, following the Nikon tutorial on my camera, but i'm still getting blue photos, just different ranges of blue depending on what I mess about with! This is probably something that experts would recognise immediately, but I can't work it out. Any advice welcomed!


For info, it works perfectly in other settings and i'm not using anything but the built in flash.

Did you set the white balance?

Make sure you do this in any mode other than automatic ..

Yes, thats it! It was on incandescent mode. I've changed it, tried it and it works. Thanks x
