Bridge 98

One of about 120 bridges on the 42 miles of the Lancaster Canal, most of them late eighteenth century. The reflections were pretty good in the bright light of yesterday afternoon.

very nice shot! I wonder what it would look like if you had both the reflection and the actual bridge being completely in shot. (and people ruin shots like this for me :( )
 
Thanks for the comment. I left out the top of the bridge because there are some rather undistinguished hospital buildings visible over it which added nothing to the composition. An interesting observation about the person. I find that I want them in some shots and not in others. I often use them for scale or as the focal point, but I'm not one for making them the subject of my images - it's just the way I am!!

Yep, it's in Lancaster itself, towards the Haverbreaks/Aldcliffe end of the city.
