you would have to get a adapter, the 1N (RS) uses normal Canon autofocus lenses. you could use your old lenses from the AE-1 but there would be no autofcus and probably no metering. anyways, a great cam! (as far as I know the fastet in world, 6ms delay, no mirror-blackout time, 10fps, strong body and so on...)
