Too much out of focus to garner that little bit which is in focus. Black point seems a bit weak and perhaps by refocusing the blacks, you might gain weight for the tip of the fern..and perhaps a square crop.

I'm not sure if you we're trying to make out of focus, but if you we're then great work at that, I don't think cropping it again wil improve it, just give it another try.
