By the river for C & C

Okay, So still trying to figure this whole portrait thing out. I took a few shots of my daughter by the Provo River this weekend and would like feedback on one of them. I know it could probably use a reflector on the right side of her, but would like to know where else I could do better. Thanks!

Next time get down to her height; shoot level to her.

Also, in harsh sun like that, try to put her between you and the sun and then expose for her face. This might make for some blowouts in the sky/hair, but it beats it happening on half her face. She could have rotated 180°, with the sun to her back and had even lighting across her face.

Otherwise, this shot could have used fill on her right side.

Always strengthen the person's spine, it will naturally give a body more curves and a better look.
And tilt the head slightly and slightly move it forward to get a bit closer to camera.
