If it's an environmental/story shot and is supposed to look like it's in a bar or whatnot, I don't like the angle of the shot as it looks too posed. For a posed shot the carpet, lighting and reflections detract from it. I think it needs to go one way or the other.
If you reshoot and go for the posed, try a white background instead of black, just watch your shadows. For the bar scene shot, do a completely different angle shot and make sure the strap is on it and it's plugged in. Beer/blood/vomit stains on carpet, overflowing ashtray and a mostly empty beer bottle for props. Oh, and picks. Even if you don't use them when you actually play you need some scattered on the floor along with duct taped cables going to your pedal board that is out of frame. An empty tube box would be a nice touch too.
Oh, and I play seven string so I'm better than all of you by at least one.
