Yet another one from early morning trip, sorry if I'm messing up this forum with my stunt!
Look at this image first, and see my comments afterwards, if you don't mind.

My goal was that the rope should function as a "sight leader". Did I succeed? What do you think of it? I had to de-saturate that rope, it was glowing!

Usually leading line is best if you put it in the corner. But I think this is pretty succesfull. I see a whole lot of rule of thirds. I like it man. I would do a B&W too.

I actually tried to frame the rope a little more diagonally, but I wanted to keep the rope straight. Seen from the side, it slops (??) down into a U-shape. Black and white conversion? Great idea, why didn't I think of that..

That's a photograph, so, yeah, you succeeded!

;)

Great shot; well captured! My only critique is that I wish I had taken it!

Dude, that kicks ass! I LOVE IT!!!! Well-done!

Same location, yes. We (he's my brother) went on that trip together.

Thanks a lot! Derrel also likes it, I'm ready to die now! :)

As for the bw conversion, I'll add a go at it. I'm not sure which one is the better. There is a little case of banding in the reflections by the rope that's less visible in coloured version.

Awesome photo!!

Awesome shot. I like the color version better, the mix of colors really compliment each other.

See what happens when we wake up early, and you thought the shot was the next day? Shot happened today and you nailed it.

Shoot well, Joe

Whoah, that's awesome!

Awesome photo ! How did you get the boat out there to make the line straight, did you swim back ? :)
