C&C please? Newborn session

Please C&C please. I don't think im gonna use my 35mm for newborn sessions because subjects are always too close to the edge. Maybe i should just use my 18-55 kit lens and shoot at 18? But I love the crispness of the 35mm. What to do? I guess the easy fix is to back up a little more

Anyways... please C&C these shots.

The last shot was underexposed because my AB didn't fire off....

Only thing I see is that she looks a little to pink, but I'm not calibrated so it may be me. I'm not a fan of one but I LOVE 2. Three her hand positioning is a little awkward. Really liking the last two as well. GJ.

In #3, the way her right hand/wrist is bent looks so uncomfortable. I know it is such hard work to pose them and get them to stay there, but I would suggest to work on the most natural look as possible.

#3 made me chuckle. It looks so...adultish? Like she's bored and wants to get this photo shoot over asap. I think for this reason I like it.

Im with the rest of them. None of them are bad, but the second one is by far the best

Exposure looks good in all of them.

If you want a challenge, try shooting while your still in the hospital. lol.

The photos look well done to me, but just wanting to put it out there that newborn babies look pretty gross, I guess they take a couple of months to cuten up...

I actually really like number 3, it's my favorite. I don't have any technical critiques, it looks good from here.

Thank you all! The mom requested I try this "unnatural

" pose from one of my past sessions:

It's always a hit or a miss trying this pose!

But between the third pic in the OP and this pic (unfinished edit):

I think the third pic in the OP is better.

The last one is a little too pink because it was underexposed from a light not firing off. I just can't get the tones right. :meh:

Anyways... just sharing another... this is my fav from this session!
