C&C Some shots

Hey guys, i've just started a photography course at college and last night we had to go out and take pictures around the campus, would you like to give your opinion on some shots please.

I like #1 a lot. There's really nothing individually exceptional about the picture, but the use of a dirty car door to reflect the sunrise/set shows some great originality and that counts for a lot in the difference between a great picture and a snapshot. The finished product really works well.

Seems like you have a pretty good eye for unique compositions. 1 just grabs my attention I like it a lot good job.

i like the colors in the second one... looks like focus is on the top left leaf instead of the red things since they look soft but i could be wrong..

are the borders and copyright really necessary?

Thanks for your input. The borders and copyright are not necessary but i feel the pictures work better with borders. And the copyright is there because it can be there
