Camera bag and straps everywhere!

Hi all,
Currently I own the Lowepro 400AW flipside but this could apply to any bag!

I find once I'm all buckled in with the waist strap, chest strap and tightened the shoulder straps I end up with a lot of excess..everywhere.

I'm tried tucking them in, twisting them back into themselves but can't for the life of me make it look respectable!

What does everyone else do? Is it worth trimming them the straps down a bit?

You know those small binder clips? The black ones? Use those to tie up all the excess, and then remove the silver metal pieces. With 18 straps on my lowepro, it's been working quite well.

Ya, it's a redneck thing.

I pinch my wife's small black elastic hair band type thingy's, work a treat! Or cut them and melt them with a lighter too stop them fraying.

Eat more food! Eventually the bag will fit without a lot of excess straps dangling everywhere.

On a more serious note... I either let it dangle or grab a clip and manage it.
