canon 28-70mm f2.8 reviews

Does anyone own this lens and what are your comments? I can't afford the 24-70 but I found a 28-70 used pretty reasonable. Would like your reviews!

Thanks! That one is actually supposedly better than the 28-70mm but it's alot more $$. I did just find one for 989.00 which is the cheapest I have found yet, so i'll look into that possibly.

The 28-70 is a great lens it is just obsolete becuase of the 24-70. If you want something with that zoom range it is a great buy.
