Canon EF 50mm f/2.5 Macro Lens

Found this little gem at Goodwill, yesterday. Pretty dirty and missing the caps. Had a Hoya UV filter on it, so it kept the front clean. But for the price, I couldn't pass it up. I've since cleaned it, and tested it out.

It's really well constructed. Very surprised at how close you can focus this lens. Might be fun to try the extension tubes with it. Already have the cheap f/1.8 and probably won't get rid of it because of this one. Think I'll get some caps for it and see what I can do with it.

I have used the 50 f2.5 macro for years. Being a macro lens it should be extremely sharp. It is a fine all around lens.
