Hi all, not sure where to put this, but I'm gonna be shooting a car for an in studio effect, I already have the space, only thing I'm curious about is how to get it all white around the whole car...

I was thinking of possibly getting a bunch of white sheets and hanging them around the car and use that as a background, or combine multiple white seamless papers and put it behind the car. Was curious if you guys had any ideas for me! Oh and one more thing, I know a lot of car studios use a lot of big softboxes above the car, I was thinking of hanging a sheet above the car and then having lights above it to reflect the light out to give it a softboxe effect!

You essentially need to make a 40' wide x 30' deep x 20' high, open front, light box.

Bed sheets won't be near big enough.

White paint.
If you don't mind a lot of white reflections in the car you are trying to shoot.

To minimize reflections you have to light the surfaces that would reflect on the car.

If not already in your photography fundamentals library, the OP might want to get Light Science and Magic: An Introduction to Photographic Lighting to learn about controlling reflections and lighting highly reflective objects.
