cc and a question

this is the icicle in focus moved over to follow the thirds rule and i actually like it better moved...

without flash i did brighten it some and add some contrast... it still has an orange color too it and i truthfully am not good enough at pictures t edit it to be crystal clear...

the other one is also orangeish

no editing on this one...

Why did you shoot at ISO 3200 1/400 and flash? You could've done a few things differently like lowering your shutter speed and your ISO with flash. Turn the flash off and keep the ISO the same but lower the shutter speed. You don't need a fast fast shutter speed for an ornament.

tiny pic is screwing them up some how they were both in focus... now they both seem alittle fuzzy... and i have a gex500 bridge and the white balance settings are just the kind of light i have...

I think what you're going for in that icicle shot is bokeh... Does your camera have a macro mode or can you stop down the aperture? (someone correct me if I said that wrong)

on which one? on the second one it was 1/30 without flash.. and i dont know bout the first one... but i thought it was also slower...

yes i do have macro mode... and its at its lowest setting...

Not easier. But WB is a cinch to correct in post when you shoot raw.

You've got several issues to contend with. WB is one. DOF is another. Compound that with low light and no tripod.......... Then you can worry about comp.

welllll i guees if your going to get technical yes.... haha yeah i screwed the 2 ornaments up... but other than photo comp no one has said anything about the fountain and the flag one... those are unedited too...
