Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
We can use light and shadow to create an image. We can use motion as well. We can use chemicals. This may not be a great image in what is acceptable today, but it is possible to execute an image that appears as another medium. Why would someone do that? Because we may be able to do it. There was a time when an artist that depicted realistic images on a paper medium was widely regarded as a Master. This is from a print that was enlarged on fiber paper, developed in chemicals. It was scanned on an Epson V800. This print took me 4 hours to prepare. Next one would be cut in half. Now, don't get it twisted, I'm not saying I'm a Master. I'm trying to break the chain that photography is not an art, at least in my old circles where I was considered a professional artist.

I must admit I have always shied away from B&W photos of flowers. However, you have shown my thinking was a bit limited.

I think the lesson to be learned is, it not the subject matter, so much as the impact of the presentation.

Great shot, thanks for posting.
