This is a candid of the woman I love from a trip to the park with our dogs. I was aiming to capture her youth beauty and charm that I find so irresistible.

In Flickr view the picture you want to link to and in the bottom right you will see an icon for "More Ways to Share" Click on that an then select "Grab HTML/BBCode". When you expand the HTML/BBCode box you will see a box of code and two buttons below the code, make the BBCode button active, select the size you want to share the picture as and then copy the contents of the code box to your clipboard.

In the forum post just paste the copied code into your post. Do a preview and you will see your picture which is linked from Flickr.

Get the url for the image on flickr using a right-click on the size you want.
once in the new post, click on the image icon (3d from right)
click on 'from url'
uncheck 'retrieve remote...........'
paste link

However attached you are to an image, anything wider than ~1200 pixels won't display on a screen here.

It's a nice candid shot; I think it shows a happy, relaxed person, but from a photography perspective, I wish she was looking more toward the viewer.

I am not one to defend my work religiously. I understand what you're saying, and I do wish that she had been facing slightly more in my direction. However, I do not believe that makes it a poor image from a photographic standpoint. I am not completely against conventions, but there are times a shot speaks a message without being in the convention.

Perhaps I should not have chosen such a personal shot as my first to post.

This image does mean a lot to me and I suppose I put gravity to the image due to that.

it's not a bad shot but she does look like she is staring at the massive tree in front of her,it helps if you can step away from an image for a while once you have taken it and then see if it still holds an attraction you.... i had a quick edit and removed the tree and warmed her up a tad

No, not at all! I am being critical of my own work when I used the word 'poor'. I apologize if it implied I was putting words in yours or anyone elses mouth.

I really like this edit. And I didn't notice how much I disliked the tree until I see the shot without it. Thank you for posting.
