Oh yes, in Hamburg there are many more than just one Christmas market, we were there yesterday afternoon and I was surprised there was one on almost every corner and in every little square. But the best known and largest is the one on the Town Hall Square. But wait: I'll take you there as we walk on.
1.
A glass sphere in a spiral (showing the opposite side of the street upside down, alongside Binnenalster where the passenger ships take off)
2.
Self-portrait in some window decorations on Gänsemarkt, where there also was one of the many Christmas markets

4.
Some of the things that you can buy there are really quite nice and very colourful.
5.
My friend insisted we arrive at Town Hall Square by 4 in the afternoon, else we'd miss Santa's ride in his reindeer-sleigh through the sky, and we made it there just on time, if you look carefully, you can see him on the right
6.
Here he is!

8.
Closer up ... with the huge advent calendar to be seen
9.
View from Mönckebergstrasse towards Town Hall Square ... and by that time taking these kinds of photos without a tripod on me began to become really difficult. This one was taken thanks to 1600 ISO and NeatImage!
