I do love that museum! Looks like you got a good shot with the wings out (only fellow Sconnies will get that).

My thoughts, crop most of the grass off to put the buildings closer to the bottom of the frame and clone out the people. Maybe also selectively add some clarity to the clouds to give them a little more definition? Otherwise, I like it!

I think it lacks a strong interest point for me. There's a lot of green foreground with nothing in it, and while the composition is actually really nice, there's nothing to draw me into the scene. It's peaceful, but I don't have an emotional connection to that city, so for me it's a forgettable photo.

I disagree and agree.

I feel this photo is more a personal interest, but also holds focal interest in the building...if it was composed a little closer to a point where it catches the eye first.

All in all, it does capture what you are going for OP, but does it spark relevant interest to others?

Not city life, but more architectural. As such I'd look at cropping in by cutting that area on the left and lower sections of the frame

Appreciate the comments, everyone. I was hoping to showcase the family having a picnic with the city as a backdrop. Oh well-I did get some architectural/cityscape shots while I was there, which is the whole reason I was at that park anyway.

I like the light and the scene, and the fact that the figure (placed very well) in the middle ground is wearing red, a little note of red, this compliments the larger areas of green and blue. Looking at it, I think that if you cropped about 50-60% of the grassy field, (darker area), and 75% of the sky above the tall building out of the picture, it would make it more dynamic picture, although with an less conventional picture ratio obviously. rexbobcat's thought that it lacks a strong interest might be that as it is, there's a fair amount of distance - visual distance. But it's horses for courses, and it looks good as it is to me anyhow. Just an extra idea.
