Relocated to Ft Myers, Fl from Cape Cod, Ma in the last 3 weeks. Found all the vacationing birds- wow.
I am no where near alot of you but with my 55-300 mm I was happy with these. this Osprey landed 3 times while trying to navigate a position into the
wind to help him manage the bird.
PP is not a skill I have but I did do minor sharpening, contrast and shadows with the Windows editing that is on computer.
All help, CC is appreciated.

Nice job Nancy! were these 100% crops or did you just downsize them for quicker uploading? I like the first shot and If there is enough resolution I would crop of some of the space on the left. Please if you see Miss Winky tell her I miss her and I love her and I hope she makes it safely back to CT in March

don't know enough to answer your question on cropping...I cropped alittle side or bottom off, but don't k kw how that is 'measured'. Do not know how to explain it..
i think I have the resolution because I shot this in Raw also and it looks much clearer on my laptop bigger screen than here on this post small size.
what size off Flickr should I use?

Those are excellent photos Nancy. If you want to go to an excellent place for deer, sand hill cranes, crested caracaras, turkeys, etc. head over to Dinner Island Ranch WMA. It's not far from Ft. Myers. I recently spent a week there in my motorhome. Here's a link:

You can find just about any animal in Florida if you keep driving the loop road that goes around the property.

Thank you Grafxman and CoastalConn. Out all day with son home from Afghanistan buying a car after 5 yrs overseas.
I will look into those locations for more opportunities!!!!
I have been out by 7 am getting beach photos so will post more soon of some beach birds. My next goal is a diving pelican or other birds.
