I like the compromise version. Looking at the first two thumbnails I leant towards the desaturated one, and that's because of the skin tone. I am going on the assumption that you left the majority of her face natural, and in the original version that skin comes off as too yellow-orange to me. The desaturated version looks closer to natural skin tone. However, upon looking at the larger versions, her skin in the desaturated one seems too green. I was going to suggest masking to deal with the skin tone while keeping the vibrancy of the hair and makeup colors of the first one, and that seems to be the approach in your compromise. Nicely done.
