Wow, thanks for answers guys, this will take so much time to learn ! Cant wait to experiment... Seems like there was an off camera flash on the picture, gotta buy the radio receivers and tripod for my flash and i might try similar things

I feel there's no flash involved. Just a high quality fast telephoto lens (at least 105mm or 135mm ), a white reflector and post processing,

Well, he used the 70-200mm f/2.8 lens and yeah, might have been a reflector...

Zoom can still be a high quality telephoto

I'm in this camp.

it was shot at 1/320, I doubt a flash was used. Just a reflector.

focal length was 175mm.

2.8 f-stop.

retouch to the face/eyes was WAY overdone.

It's hard to tell, but it appears the focus was missed, and it was over sharpened like crazy to make up for it, then over smoothed to fix the over sharpening.

There's a bunch of things done all to draw attention to the face.

It's warmer (could be an edit, could be a gold reflector)
It's got more local contrast (could be an edit, could be makeup)
There may be saturation or vibrancy adjustments as well.

It's a number of subtle effects like up to make her eyes and face and upper body pop and look appealing. No idea how much was done in camera and how much in post. It doesn't matter much.

Haha, trying to process all the informations you guys are saying and i am kinda confused ! The reflector seems like a good idea, i might consider getting one, for reflector i need an assistent right ?
Braineack, how do you over sharpen and then over smooth ?
