I did a color run and I really wanted to take my camera, but after reading up on it I decided not to. I did see one guy with a camera and it was all wrapped up in plastic. I'm still not sure I would have trusted the plastic. I hope your camera didn't get too dusty.

Certainly looks a lot of fun and the chance to get some really vibrant images. I'd be too paranoid about shooting one of these though. Seen a few people have their lenses ruined because the fine powder finds its way inside them. I'd definitely want a housing as @Geaux mentions.

Nicely done, 'though having been to Doha, I cannot for the life of me, imagine what would possess people there to run, regardless of the provocation!

The old FUJI performed well and did get a lot of dust on the outside. I was very careful cleaning it and it seems to be fine, no dust on the inside. I saw the official photogs wrap the equipment in clingfilm.

I took a shedload of images and it was a great fun day for everyone. The temp was around 25 Celsius (it is the middle of winter you know). Running 500 feet in the summer (55 Celsius + 90% humidity) is a whole different thing.
