A question for the model: was the make up above her eyes appield with the plastic spoon from McDonalds or Starbucks?

hey OP here, glad to see all the gurus critiquing my photo.

um yeah this lighting was all over the place. i actually had 4 lights here. BUT only two were used... i originally had two side lights hitting her cheeks (behind and left and right of subject). then i had one hair light right and behind subject, up high pointing down. then i had a beauty dish for main light above camera. i also had a reflector under her neck. BUT for this particular shot, i put the reflector behind her (silver reflector) to give that background. the reflector blocked the two side/back lights. so only the main light and hair light were present. i was just playing around with different lighting set ups that day so i was all over the place.

as for the make up, she was the MUA and the model. she does make up for fun so shes no pro. and neither am i. this shot was taken at the end of the shoot so her make up was starting to look funky.

and for the stray hairs, yea i got lazy. it wasnt as easy because the background had texture.
