Contrast: one for C&C

I use Wix.
Photography is my profession. (Part time because I can).

I can't figure out wordpress. :grumpy:

Kevin I see a lot of comments coming from you that you can't explain. So before you comment on something just to try and get people to like you, try and at least have a reason behind it. Now go play with your ND filters.

Geeze,
you picked it apart =p.

Lol yeah. they're just cheap ^-^

Did I mention it was my OPINION?

Riddle me this;

Why?

SMH at the direction of this thread. It went from talks of contrast - to professionalism - to random video clips with kittens...
1 - thanks for those who commented on the original post. I go heavy sometimes with contrast and its hard to tell sometimes if I've gone too far. Someone said it looks a little cool/blue. Anyone else think so?
2 - having a wix.com or a website does not determine if a photographer is pro or not. If Annie Leibovitz had a www.wix.com/annieleibovitz address would that not make her a professional photographer?
There is a difference between being a professional and professionalism. Yea having a free website with ads doesn't show professionalism but that shouldn't take away from the talent of the photographer.

If a photographer noob just created a professional website, would that make them a pro photographer? No. Being a pro means being good at your craft and people pay for your services.

God...let me never get into an argument with Bitter or I will be roasted alive and others will cook marshmallows on the flames. :lmao:

For the OP, I love the contrast, I think it's just right!...and I also like the handle as well.

I still can't figure out what SMH means.

Shaking My Head

Oh,

And, the contrast seems fine to me too. Color-temp also looks good. There are lots of blue elements, but the baby looks fine.

I take that back. You don't have to be good at your craft. As long as you have a profession and people are actually paying for your services... congrats you are a professional. There's this "photographer" I know who can't focus or compose a shot to save her life but people are paying her for her services. Mainly probably because of her cheap rates but some shockingly think she's a good photographer. So Kevin I understand when you say how art can be viewed differently.

Give me a minute. I'm searching your posting history, looking for a fight. :grumpy:

Contrast is fine to my eyes.

I am drawn to the bucket more than the baby because it is such a vivid color.
I whole heartedly disagree with those disliking the handle placement. It is opposite the baby's head, and is a nice weight and detail to oppose it.
I almost want to see a cute sponge at the lower left/center base of the bucket. It would create a triangle of interest too lead the eye around, and repeat suggested triangles from the background.

There, Sabrina. No snark. Put that in your bubble pipe and smoke it!
Ooops. I did it again, didn't I?

Love the sponge idea. Really cute idea for next time.. Thanks!
I hope it didn't pain you to do that :-]
