Couple shots of lake ice C&C please

I went out before the sun came up yesterday hoping to get some shots of geese or ducks. Didnt get any clear shots. Who knew geese were so skittish? I did get a few that I like of the melting ice on the lake. Thought I would see what the experts think.

I think 1 could have a little bigger DOF, but otherwise very nice shots!

would've definitely gone for more DOF in the first one. i find the second one more appealing. but great texture and shots

Thes are some really cool shots and I agree on the DOF in #1.
