Had an adventure up to the big city to our state zoo, hadn't been there for a really long time.

Still have more to add to the post, hope you all enjoy them.

Pain in the arse getting pics through wire fencing hand held, seen one lady using a tripod for hers.

Peccaries, but there not related to the pig family.

Wonderful shots! A particularly nice one of the peccaries, comp and focus wise. Yep, fencing can be a pain.

Tassie Devil wasn't being cooperative,

Ran outta room for this one because the telephoto lens was on, so yeah were missing a tail. He's getting a nectar/suger treat.

Not complaining It's still a nice pic with a story to it.

You have any tips for shooting through the fencing?

Nope. I just get close to one of the holes and hope the focus on the the subject has a shallow enough dof that the fencing itself if barely noticeable.
